Кстати, именно "Любовь в тишине" - более правильное русское название сериала. Странно, что на Кинопоиске его назвали "Тихая любовь" почему-то.

В этом сериале два этапа. Сначала идет история любви Мариселы и Фернандо (Эрика Буэнфиль и Артуро Пениче). Их семьи серьезно против и делают все, чтобы их разлучить, но, преодолев все препятствия, влюбленные все-таки женятся. Оба трагически погибают прямо на собственной свадьбе от рук сумасшедшей злодейки, но у них остается маленькая дочь Ана. Отец Мариселы забирает внучку и отправляет ее в интернат. Через годы Ана вырастает в красивую девушку очень похожую на свою погибшую мать. И идет уже другая история любви Аны и Анхеля (Эрика Буэнфиль и Омар Фиерро). Причем, как я поняла, Анхель глухонемой и общается только жестами. Поэтому и любовь в тишине.

Очень было бы интересно увидеть этот сериал. Актёрский состав очень хороший.

Ура ! Ещё один сериал с Эрикой Буенфиль . Ещё бы записал этот сериал кто ни будь и выложил бы его на форуме , было бы чудо .

Прикольно, что в более поздней версии Пениче играл деда главной героини.

This might turn into one of my favorites, I'm serious.
People constantly told me this is one of the best from the 80s so I always wanted to see it.

This is my favorite performance from Erika Buenfil. I also see her in El Derecho de Nacer in which she is fine, but is still learning the craft.
Here she is very sweet, I love her motherly relationship with little Ángel and yet building enough strength to defend herself and her love for Fernando. Not an easy task due the duo of antagonists here.

Fernando however is not my favorite from Peniche. Now he is an excellent lead, not the most handsome but attractive and charming enough that even when his characters do questionable things he still has the charisma to back it up. But Fernando is possessive and a bit controlling, this might be due to his overprotective sister.

But this telenovela is not exactly machista, the framing is constantly criticizing these attitudes just not shoving its message onto your head like the Vencer series.
This is all due to Eric Vonn being one of its writers.

Mercedes and Paola are just insane . Villains like these are just lacking in recent telenovelas. One is a psychotic witch who's overbearing care for Fernando is almost insestious and scares all of his girlfriends. She is violent, aggressive and fully extreme.

Paola is just bitter but bitter to the point of just seeing her face is enough to stay away from her. Even people who might care for her eventually realize there is no use.

I mean in the firsts chapters they both slap Marisela out of nowhere.

But in my opinion the best character is Miguel (Joaquin Cordero). He is the typical patriarch who has a second family and all, including a machista buddy who supports all of his wrongdoings.
But Cordero is such a charming actor (Can I say I'm in love with him? ), when he says he loves his wife you believe it, and then says that he's going to take his kids away from his mistress and you also believe it.

From the tlnovelas broadcast, the image treatment is excellent. Too bad they crop the aspect ratio.

By chapter 64 the second phase starts. The last episodes of the first one were just excellent. The main protagonists die, so does the matriarch of the Ocampo family, pretty much most of the characters have changed or just got worse.

The first episodes from phase 2 are quite slow and repetitive. My guess is that Eric Vonn and Liliana Abud wanted to relax the audience since they were processing the death of the main couple. But now the story became a high drama again, only more juvenile one than the first phase.

Is quite a loss to not see Saby Kamalich, Laura Leon and Ada Carrasco anymore and have them replaced with youngsters but I got used to them.

Oh and Omar Ferro is much better and more handsome leading man than Peniche and Marisela 's daughter is played again by Erika Buenfil (similar to Daniela Castro in El Noveno Mandamiento).

So for a bit more context.

One of the sons that Miguel (Joaquin Cordero) had outside of his marriage has started his revenge by seducing Ana (his niece ). Everything has been revealed and exploded, all the Ocampo family and friends have now seen the type of man Miguel is.

The scene was 70% of chapter 84 and I love it, especially Paola (Elvira Monsell) and her bitterness towards everyone.
Ana also discovers that one of her friends Gaby was sleeping with her boyfriend/uncle

Finished last friday on tlnovelas (same as La Fuerza del Destino):

People already told me the second half of the series was weaker than the first and… yeah.
The first part is quite great with the excellent cast and storylines. The second part is a juvenile telenovela with conflicts that stretch for way too long (and young actors replacing big figures like Saby Kamalich).

Patricia Pereya’s character, while well acted, is a pseudo protagonist who just doesn’t want to get married… twice. Ana (the main character) after forgiving her grandfather just needs to discover that Angel is her secret lover who writes her some poems.

Alongside that is Paola’s afterlife as a depressed cougar, Mercedes’s slow turn into serial killer and Diego being resentful. That’s it for 51 chapters.

Maybe it wouldn't be so slow if I didn't watch one chapter per day instead of binging it.
It was still a decent watch and certainly better than the 4K offerings from Televisa.

The biggest highlights here are Omar Fierro as Angel who is charming, handsome and generally nice (despite the iffy issue of falling in love with his symbolic sister).
And Joaquin Cordero as Miguel Ocampo, from the powerful, gallant and yet despicable man to a sweet, humble and guilt trip old man. I love how he constantly is eating and sharing his candy.
